Site and Warehouse Lead
The Site and Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the warehouse operations, as well as, exhibit installation and dismantling work at events or trade shows across the G.T.A., with some travel nationally and in the U.S.

This position is based out of our office in Burlington, Ontario and will require travel for work across the GTA and some travel nationally and internationally (U.S.A.).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the General Manager, the individual will provide operational support in the company warehouse; this includes pulling, preparing and packing exhibit materials for shows. Warehouse set-ups, deliveries and assisting the fabrication team will also be part of their responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Octanorm, system exhibits, and custom displays. The person has an understanding of exhibit construction.
The individual will set up and dismantle exhibits at events locally and internationally (U.S.A), supervise installation & dismantle crews, coordinate with show service providers, and assist customers with their show requirements.
Providing an exceptional customer experience is key to this role. As an extension of the office team, the supervisor must have the knowledge and communication skills to collaborate with the client professionally and have the technical expertise to ensure the booth is executed flawlessly.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse responsibilities
Pull and prepare exhibit and rental material for client's shows
Load and unload materials
Warehouse maintenance; ensuring it is clean and organized.
Assist with miscellaneous fabrication and shop work
Complete deliveries and pick-ups
Keep detailed and accurate inventory of our rental and client's materials
Comply with safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
Show Site Responsibilities
Install and dismantle exhibits.
Understand the scope of assigned projects
(Meet and review projects with Account Managers and I&D Manager).
Collaborate with the Account Manager and client on any site issues.
Ensure the exhibit installation is successfully executed while providing an exceptional customer experience
Working knowledge of exhibit design, construction, materials and comfortable discussing these details with clients
Work with the team to handle & resolve issues from show service contractors, freight & customs issues, graphics
Available to work on projects that take place in the evenings and weekends.
Occasionally travel to show locations across Canada or international show locations.
Keep detailed records or time-sheets of hours (warehouse, site & crew hours)
Available to work 40 hours per week (8 hours a day) or as necessary to complete projects
Skills & Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent
3 + years working as an exhibit installer
Demonstrated experience managing crews
Requires previous experience in an equivalent or similar role
Experience with Octanorm is preferred
Read and interpret CAD set-up drawings
Operate a Forklift - certification is a plus
Drive a company or rental truck for pick-ups and deliveries
Customer service oriented
Self-motivated
Excellent at following direction
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving & analytical skills
Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative, multi-tasked environment while efficiently managing their own time
Ability to work to strict timelines & deadlines, is organized and detail oriented

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and eligible to travel to the U.S. for projects

A direct extension of the Account Management team, the Warehouse and Site Lead is the front-line representative of the company. This individual is highly customer service focused, confident, and very experienced in both system and custom builds.
